Some of you may know that I am affiliated with a few local orchestras. Some of them I am involved with through my kids as well as working with them as a Music Librarian. I've also recently taken on the "job" of being their resident photographer this past year. I really enjoy working with the musicians they are truly wonderful, friendly, talented people.
Last night was the first of 2 winter concerts for one of these groups. The New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra www.njio.org is a group of talented musicians of all ages ranging from the very young to the very young at heart. They have 3 levels of orchestras to challenge the fairly new musician to the more experienced, more advanced players. Many of the musicians choose to participate in all 3 groups just because they love to play and enjoy the camaraderie.
This is a shot I took from the lighting/sound booth just before the concert began. I will not likely be posting photos here of members since many are children and I've not obtained permission, so I will leave that up to the orchestra itself to decide which, if any, they would like to use on their web-site since they have the proper releases. I was pleased to see that my member photos were included in the program as well as in a fund raising campaign presentation. It made me smile.

*I am slowly moving my archives from my other site here since I am having some trouble with Blogger and broken archives, lack of support, etc. The migration will take some time and if you visit my other blog you will likely see some redundancy.
Coming back to AM3 after a long hiatus. I hope to be more active in the coming months.
