What a day for photos! The bulb looks like a birds eye and beak. This shot is so well composed and the DOF adds a sort of 'mystique' to it. Excellent shot

@david: Thanks David that was the same reaction I had when I saw this shot, it's definitely the reason I liked it myself. The f2.8 @ 200mm really made a tight DOF.

I really like the focus on the berry and the soft focus of everything else. the coloring is exceptional.

@photowannabe: Thanks...I thought the coloring was really pretty too, probably my favorite element to the shot. Muted tones appeal to me a great deal and in the fall, you can find both vibrant colors and muted tones, the best of both worlds.
