Tea Time

Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 7 September 2009 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

I have not been out shooting at all the past 2 weeks, except for the Yankee game. That is probably the longest I've gone without doing any serious shooting. I've been looking through some of the archives and not too much has caught my eye to post. Most are variations on themes I've already posted. I usually keep still life photos for posting in the winter when I seem to run out of shots more often than other times of the year, but this was there and so I post it now.

This afternoon Rob goes back to GA and will deploy later this fall to Iraq. We had a nice couple of weeks with him and it was wonderful to have him home. We will go down to see him once more right before he deploys. That is a trip I dread. Not that I don't want to see him, I just remember how hard it was to say goodbye the last time he deployed. It just sucks.

Your comments are very much appreciated. I know how much time and effort it takes to visit and leave comments. I really do appreciate them.

I make every effort to reply to questions but sometimes I miss one or two and I apologize for that. If you really need me to get an answer to you quickly, the best way is to use the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page.

I post the same photos here as on Capturethisphotography.com but they are higher res. and landscape orientation shots are larger size.

I post only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
