AwwwPosted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 26 August 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. An adorable baby chick at the Hunterdon County 4H fair. Since Rob is home we are not planning too much ahead since he wants to balance his time between family and friends. Sunday morning he was sleeping in after staying up into the wee hours hanging out with his brothers playing some new video game he introduced them to so Mark and I took the opportunity to run over to the fair for a couple of hours while the boys caught up on their much needed sleep. I don't think any of us have gone to bed before 2AM since he has been home. It was a muddy, soggy, humid, hot, kinda stinky day, and I do mean the smelly kind of stinky. Negotiating the mud was an adventure in and of itself, but there were still lots of great things to see. I didn't take a lot of photos since we didn't stay too long but I got a few cute shots here and there. This baby chick was just too cute to pass up. Tonight we are going to a Yankees game with Rob. I am hoping to have a few photos to share from the game. This is only the 3rd game I've been to and the 1st one in the new stadium. It should be a blast. For a higher resolution view go here. I post the same photos here as on Capturethisphotography.com but they are higher res. and landscape orientation shots are larger size. I post only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
