NY Waterways FerryPosted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 5 August 2009 in Transportation and Portfolio. This was shot the same day as the previous post but from Hoboken...yes we do spend a lot of time in Hoboken. I've become very fond of that city since I've been photographing there over the past couple of years. I was shooting in the opposite direction when I heard the Ferry behind me so I quickly turned around and grabbed the shot as the Ferry started to turn toward NY. It was such a lovely evening with wonderful golden light. This was 100% processed in Lightroom...no HDR...I don't have a clue how to do HDR. No add on filters or plug-ins only Lightroom's default tools. There is a lot of stuff going on right now and I am so very busy. I have some very hopeful exciting news and I am wanting to share it but cannot...just yet. It is of a personal nature not related to photography but it is something I've been waiting for for a long time and if you have been following me for a while you will understand why I am excited about it. I should know by the end of the week if it will happen. I'm requesting positive thoughts in the meantime. For a much larger more detailed view go here. I know how much time and effort it takes to visit and leave comments. I really do appreciate them. I make every effort to reply to questions but sometimes I miss one or two and I apologize for that. If you really need me to get an answer to you quickly, the best way is to use the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page. I post the same photos here as on Capturethisphotography.com but they are higher res. and landscape orientation shots are larger size. I post only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
