This was shot last Saturday, the same gorgeous warm Spring day as the previous 2 posts, but at the Fishing Docks in Belford NJ.

Coming back to AM3 after a long hiatus. I hope to be more active in the coming months.

Very good, Laurie, and you are right: it needs some cleaning and painting :)

OMG Laurie; this is a fabulous photograph. The lighting is truly incredible. The detail on the boat is superb. Your composition throughout is outstanding. Bravo!

Maybe the natural wood look is dernier cri now. :-)

I love the warm light, in particular. Such an appealing image despite her lack of paint. When I am so fortunate to visit the ocean and places like this, I spend hours upon hours wandering, observing, photographing, and breathing it all in. Your image takes me there.

Vintage boat yard, lovely location for still photography and a fine one with the sun illuminating on the humble boat.

This is great. I love the light you see when you look through your lens. You are such a great photographer. Love this one.

The light reflecting off that hull is superb! Love the proportion you have given it as well! Very good work as usual Laurie!

I like very much this type of images to the fishing port, a beautiful light and contrast .
Excellent work !

Needs a few touches of paint here and there! :-) Gorgeous light in this shot, Laurie.

I kind of like her just the way she is!! Love the light in this.

The tones in this just scream b&w to me! Still it's very effective in color.

@Dan Creighton: Thanks...I just loved the glowing golden patina of old wood and the warm glow of the sunlight so for me color was the only choice for this. Black and white just didn't do anything for me.
I can't believe it's afloat :)
Beautiful light.

Beautiful richness of color in that low angle of light . . and I like how this catches the happy chaos so often found in a dock . . appearance always comes second to function.

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: LOL...I didn't think of it at the time...maybe next time. :-D
Very nice! Great post processing. I love the light and feel to this image! Well done

El lugar es increible. Viejo barco en un viejo muelle lleno de historias y viajes increibles. La nitidez y el dominio no de las lucen son una auténtica pasada. Un saludo.

Beautiful light and warm colors on this wooden boat. I prefer this framing than the next one. There is much more power here.

Lovely midtones here. Letting the shadows go substantially has worked well in exposure/postprocessing. The result is really dramatic.

What character! I bet she could tell some stories. Even Miss Callie looks like she has many stories to tell. I love this.
