Bottle BrushesPosted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 19 April 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I have really no idea what these are but they look like bottle brushes to me. This was taken last November at the Rutger's Gardens. For a higher resolution view go here. See my new SLIDESHOW page. Your comments are very much appreciated. I was a dork and looked it up (briefly) in my plant encyclopedia. It looks like a wild heuchera. Or maybe even a cimicifuga. Heuchera is on the shorter side. Cimicifuga can get upward to 5ft or so. I worked at nursery every summer through college. Grad school is year round now though :-( For all we know, it could be a weed! 20 Apr 2009 1:00am @Dan Meyers: Thanks for the info. I think it is the Cimicifuga. I am pretty certain it is not a weed as it was in one of the gardens at the Rutgers Gardens which is part of their agriculture department. Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesWhatever that plant is... it is pretty... great shot as always... 20 Apr 2009 1:22am Lesley from Lincoln, United StatesNot sure what these are, but they're beautiful.
