It is time to start seriously thinking about starting the yard work and cleaning up the gardens...mine are a mess!

@Viewfinder: Ah you remember those...I couldn't find any. They only had just plain old beige or black. Plus these are really cheap imitations. I would never pay for authentic crocs...they are too expensive and I think they are really ugly things. I think they make me look like I have clown feet when I wear them. :-D But they are good for knocking around and running out the door.

@Monique: The gardens are a mess. We have to redo everything, especially in the front. We had a really bad oil tank leak that destroyed our property and took about 3 years to clean up. My entire front yard and driveway was dug up to a depth of 14 feet right up to our foundation. It was a mess, a nightmare in fact. We finally were able to re-plant our lawn last fall just before winter so we have grass instead of mud for the first time since 2006. With these new tools I am ready although I am not fond of gardening and yard work at all. :-D

Well, you certainly have everything there to make it work! Even the beautiful pink flowers (Begonia?). Good luck! Won't be too long before all the tools and gloves take on a completely different (dirty) look.

A very sharp image with beautiful tones. Love the theme, too. I'm not sure what the bottle is for -- but then I'm not a gardener. I'm sure it deserves a place there, although for me it seems to disturb the lines of the other objects, and seems to fight for the eye's attenion. Just a personal view, of course.

@Andrew Gould: Thanks. The water is for me...I drink a lot of water. I almost always have a bottle of water with me, especially when working up a sweat doing yard work.

Beautiful light and great composition. It is amazing that you are about to go gardening and still had the time to compose this picture. I happen to agree with Andrew's comment. I do find the bottle a bit "distracting", however, I do think that it could symbolize the hard work that it is involved in gardening.

This would make a great window display, or a poster size image of this to promote garden tools.
They look so nice new, would hate to get them dirty.
I could use a pair of those for my yard work, but I agree how ugly crocs are but everyone is wearing them.

@dj.tigersprout: Welcome!!! I'm glad to hear you made it. I hope you find something more permanent without too much difficulty. I don't really know much about housing in NY other than it can be small and expensive. I know Brooklyn has some wonderful neighborhoods. My niece was living there up until a few weeks ago when she relocated to Denver. She liked her neighborhood (I don't know exactly where it was).
