Thanksgiving Thoughts

Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 26 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I often go for walks in the park to take photos but also to clear my head and reflect on the things in my life that are most precious to me. Among the things I am most Thankful for are of course my children, my husband, our health. I am Thankful for our security in a nation where we enjoy so many freedoms, freedoms that are easily taken for granted until they are gone.

Despite the struggles we face today, there is still much to be Thankful for. Taking our freedoms and liberties for granted are the quickest way to lose them. So remember them, be thankful for them, and never take them for granted because when they are gone it is too late. I wish for all the world to enjoy the same freedoms and liberties that we have. I hope that we will preserve those freedoms for our children and our children's children.

I also would be remiss if I didn't express my thanks to all of you who visit and or take the time to comment on my images. I am very honored by your visits and wonderful comments.

So here is wishing everyone who will be celebrating a very Happy, Healthy, and Thankful Thanksgiving.
