Happy Birthday Rob!!!Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 22 October 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Today, October 22nd, is Rob's 22nd birthday and he is celebrating it over in Iraq. He is supposed to come home in a few weeks for R&R and we are so excited to be expecting him home soon. We miss him so much. So Rob if you read this just know how much we love you and miss you. We think of you every day and pray for you every day. You are a true hero and we are so proud that you are our son. This is a photo from a park in the Delaware Watergap area. We went in search of fall colors and we found them. It's finally showing the glorious fall color that we've been eagerly anticipating all month. On Sunday we drove all over parts of NJ that we love and even found a few new spots. The weather was amazing. It was warm with a nice cool breeze. The sky was an amazing vibrant blue and the colors just popped against the blue sky. The only thing I wished for that I didn't get were some puffy clouds. I saw not one cloud in the sky all day. The only cloud I saw was after sunset as the light was just leaving the horizon. It was but a whisp of a cloud kissed by the pink light of the setting sun. I was on the highway just about home when I noticed it. I hope this splash of fall color brings a smile to a few faces. And yes the colors really were that intense today. Rob this is for you to remind you of the beauty back home. We Love you. Be safe, and we will see you soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Remember October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have some useful links posted on my other blog on this post.
