Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 15 October 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.
I was wandering around a local street fair and came upon the children's area where they had a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce castle, and other assorted activities for the little ones.
I have never before seen a blue eyed pony until I saw this one. It was difficult to get a shot of him because there were so many people around and he just wasn't willing to stay still, but I was persistent and managed this shot, such as it is.
Remember October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have some useful links posted on my other blog on this post.

@Jerry: Hi Jerry! He is supposed to come home in the beginning of November for a couple of weeks. I'm still waiting for the exact dates. I cannot wait for him to be home.
A very crisp clean shot! i like the contrasting tones and texture of the pony and blue eyes is just an added bonus!

Persistance rules! I have no patience sometimes - it's point and move. Sometimes I'd like to have just more time....

@Behrooz: Thanks.
I don't think I have seen a blue eyed horse either. The contrast of the dark hide and the red harness really gives personality to the shot.
