Red Mushroom

Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 19 August 2007 in Plants & Nature and Portfolio.

I found this little mushroom while walking in the park near where Jon has his violin/viola lessons. The park isn't very big and there is not much to see, but sometimes I get lucky and will find something interesting. I liked the detail in this little mushroom. I had never really looked that closely at mushrooms and other fungi until I started getting back into photography. This was not shot with my macro lens although the lens I used has a "macro" range.
