This is a sunflower from a bouquet I had on my dining table. I took them out into the bright sun on my deck, sprayed them with water and took some photos of them with my macro lens. This one was the most intense in terms of contrast, light, and shadow. This was taken the same time as this one from my other blog.

I love shooting flowers with macros, it's always been my favorite thing to do.
Anyway I am so glad you like them.
Very powerful image...usually photographing flowers in the bright sun doesn't work. You broke the rule and proved it wrong-nicely done!!!
