Check Mate

I've been really busy the last few days since I got home and I haven't had much time to shoot, post, or visit everyone.

I've had a couple of new projects come my way which were not expected. I have a very tight deadline for one of those projects which came my way last night. I finished the preliminary work last night and was quite pleased with the result.

It seems I have come full circle and am now getting back into the advertising/promotional business which was the field I worked in before I had kids. I hadn't planned on going in that direction, so it's kind of a surprise. Life is funny that way.

I know this photo doesn't really go with the text, except maybe as a metaphor for conquest of the new challenges I have been presented with.
