1940's Christmas KitchenPosted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 16 December 2006 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. Ahhh...I can just smell those cookies baking!!! I'm just glad I have a more modern kitchen in which to make mine, although I must say this nostalgic kitchen does have quite a bit of charm. This is another shot from the History House in Officers Row in Fort Hancock. Robert is due home today from Fort Benning. I am so excited to see after so many months. This week will really be the beginning of the Christmas Season for us. I will start baking this weekend. We will finish decorating the Family room tree and enjoying the family being all together under one roof. Please visit my other photoblog Capturethisphotography.com See my new SLIDESHOW page. Your comments are very much appreciated. I know how much time and effort it takes to visit and leave comments. I really do appreciate them. I make every effort to reply to questions but sometimes I miss one or two and I apologize for that. If you really need me to get an answer to you quickly, the best way is to use the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page. I post the same photos here as on Capturethisphotography.com but they are higher res. and landscape orientation shots are larger size. I post only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
