Tiny House 1Posted by Laurie (New Jersey, United States) on 18 November 2006 in Architecture and Portfolio. I want to Love this photo and a part of me does because I love this tiny little house. Unfortunately it is located on a relatively busy intersection. The street, utility pole, and a stop sign are just out of frame on the right in this shot which forced me to frame the fence a little closer to the edge than I would have liked. In a perfect world, those obstacles wouldn't have been in my way, how rude of them! The other issue was the light. Which was why I tried a little Sepia toning. The Sepia seemed to work fairly nicely with this image. I've been back there twice at different times of the day but the light was still not really what I wanted, not to mention both days were a bit dull. I want to go back one more time in the early AM to see if it's better then, I just have not had the opportunity yet. It might make a nice winter scene (keeping my fingers crossed). As for the house itself, I know nothing about it other than it is really tiny and, I think, adorable. I am not even entirely sure if it is a house, or an office of some sort. It seems too small to be a house although I have seen at least one other house this small. Please visit my other photoblog Capturethisphotography.com *I am slowly moving my archives from my other site here since I am having some trouble with Blogger and broken archives, lack of support, etc. The migration will take some time and if you visit my other blog you will likely see some redundancy. See my new SLIDESHOW page. Your comments are very much appreciated. I know how much time and effort it takes to visit and leave comments. I really do appreciate them. I make every effort to reply to questions but sometimes I miss one or two and I apologize for that. If you really need me to get an answer to you quickly, the best way is to use the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page. I post the same photos here as on Capturethisphotography.com but they are higher res. and landscape orientation shots are larger size. I post only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
